We’re proud to support our partners working to advance our priorities in communities around the world. Here’s just a selection of their important efforts:
The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex helps transmit Jewish culture and traditions from generation to generation. Their programs range from wellness, and cultural education to humanitarian services for local individuals and families.
Our Work Together
Project: Various Sounds of Music Program
Various Sounds of Music gives Jewish older adults in Greater Monmouth and Union Counties the opportunity to enjoy quality music in a safe, social atmosphere. With our grant, the JCC has expanded the program to provide a wider array of music classes, lectures, and performances, and they’re now able to bring Jewish music to other assisted living facilities.
Project Kesher builds Jewish community and advances civil society by developing and empowering women leaders. Project Kesher supports the largest network of Jewish women in Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine, and in Israel’s Russian-speaking communities.
Our Work Together
Project: Project Kesher Israel
We partnered with Project Kesher to train women as peer leaders to support the needs of older Russian-speaking women making Aliyah to Israel. The goal of the project is to teach key life skills, Jewish holidays and celebrations, and provide a supportive environment for women who are mostly living at or close to the poverty level when they arrive in Israel.
The Deal Sephardic Center provides daily fitness, educational, recreational, and sports programming to youth, adults, and older adults—while promoting Sephardic values.

Project: DSN Academy for Seniors
In 2018, the DSN Academy for Seniors was established to improve health and quality of life. The program now has 50 daily attendees aged 80 to 100. They engage in exercise, educational activities, work on projects for the patients of the local Sephardic Cancer Center, celebrate holidays, share meals, and participate in intergenerational programs.
If you’re pursuing innovative work in the field of aging, we would love to hear from you. Review our requirements for prospective grantees.
