We’re proud to support our partners working to advance our priorities in communities around the world. Here’s just a selection of their important efforts:
The Jewish Association on Aging (JAA) is a Pittsburgh-area network of residential communities, health organizations, and home care providers that delivers services that keep older people safe, independent, and connected to their community.
Our Work Together
Project: AHAVA Memory Care Center
AHAVA Memory Care Center helps those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia by delivering collaborative care grounded in a holistic approach that supports engaging lifestyles, fulfilling activities, and empowering interior design.
The Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center supports its local Jewish and non-Jewish communities by providing a range of health, education, and cultural programs and events.
Our Work Together
Project: Alzheimer’s Respite Program
Overseen by a licensed social worker, Reflections Respite Program is a social day program for individuals with Alzheimer’s and related dementia that provides unique fitness, art, and other therapeutic activities. Our partnership helped them offer an expanded program in a new, safer and more technologically advanced space.
Ezrat Avot provides lonely older people in the Jerusalem area with a place to go and delivers meals to people who may be homebound, ill, or impoverished.
Our Work Together
Project: New Elevator and Health and Life Enrichment Center
In 2017, Ezrat Avot completed a new six-story building to house its services and programs. During building construction, we partnered with them to help purchase and install an elevator for the new building. We also supported completion of the Health and Life Enrichment Center in 2019 which includes a cafe, exercise space, and a small garden for visitors to tend.
