CaringKind develops and delivers care and support services for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. Their programs and advancement of research aim to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease altogether.
Our Work Together
Project: Dementia Care, Education, and Support for Orthodox Jewish Community in Brooklyn, NY
CaringKind’s grant helped them create an outreach and caregiver support program for Jewish families affected by dementia in Brooklyn, NY, based on the successful model CaringKind runs for other groups.
Menorah Park of Central New York ensures independence and dignity for older Jewish people by offering the highest quality of health, residential and community services.
Our Work Together
Project: The Arts and Minds Community Room; Dementia Friendly Jewish Community
With our grant, Menorah Park created the Arts and Minds Community Room within the new Memory Care Center for people experiencing memory loss, early symptoms of dementia, and/or the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. Another grant helped them create a Dementia-friendly Jewish living community which supports aging in place.
The Israel Parkinson Association supports people impacted by Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. Its 16 branches across Israel provide consulting, emotional support groups, subsidized physical rehabilitation, lectures, and social activities.

Project: Transportation for Parkinson’s Patients
The Israel Parkinson Association used this grant to provide expanded patient transportation to medical appointments and social activities throughout the country.
